N: vegetale e clamorosamente fresco. Sembra di essere in mezzo ad un filare dove è stato appena steso il bucato. Asciutto ed educato. Il fumo c’è, chiaramente, declinato in eleganti note di cenere, ma non è affatto prepotente. Pino silvestre, floreale, anche un po’ cremoso. Leggerissimamente, forse, sullo sfondo, del talco e delle alghe marine. In definitiva un naso molto, molto gradevole
P: L’educazione si mantiene – forse anche troppo. L’impatto sulla lingua è molto delicato – considerando quelli dei nostri giorni, si farebbe fatica a dirlo un Laphroaig, e si avverte subito un corpo molto “scorrevole”, che diremmo quasi ricordare una camomilla. La torba a malapena si avverte fintanto che non si deglutisce. Dopo di ciò, poco sotto il radar: frutta secca nel retro faringe, leggerissimamente vegetale, alghe, cioccolata all’arancia.
F: Decisamente il punto dolente. Ad eccezione di un leggero sentore di torba facciamo fatica ad elencare dell’altro.

N: Herbal and sensationally fresh. Mind sets back to old times, remembering sensations coming from running across laundry rows. Dry and polite. Clearly there is some smoke, inflected as elegant ash notes: the result is everything but aggressive. Pine, floral, creamy. Maybe, in the background, talcum and seaweed make a light appearance. This is definetly a very, very delicate nose.
P: Politeness is intact – starts being a little weird now. Impact on the tongue is delicate – it is hard to realize it is a Laphroaig, if compared to the actual ones, and the body structure is very smooth, as it almost remember chamomille (?????). Peat almost remains hidden until swallowing. Not much comes after this: dried fruit in the retro-pharynx, lightly herbal, seaweed, orange chocolate.
F: Not much to highlight, with the exception of some light peat. Definetly the Achilles’ heel.
