N: Iniziamo con odori di terra bagnata e una leggera brezza marina, poi arriva una zaffata di fumo legnoso e frutta secca (mandorle); appare subito molto differente dall’attuale 12 anni, più intenso e profondo, infine pesche molto mature e uno strano sentore di rame?!
P: Ci accolgono sapori metallici e patate bollite, poi frutta gialla quasi marcia (mela), sembra ancora più vivo che al naso, l’alcol è vivace, rileviamo poi un lato speziato, pepe rosa e paprika.
F: Di media persistenza, il rame torna insieme alla mela molto matura e alle patate bollite.
Molto soddisfacente come entry level, ha poco senso effettuare un paragone con l’attuale 12 anni, la profondità e l’intensità dei sentori si lascia assaporare con facilità.

P: Metallic flavours and poached potatoes with a touch of overripe apples, even more deep, the alcohol is lively, after than that there’s a spicy side, pink pepper and paprika, we like it more than current 12.
F: Medium aftertaste, copper comes back with overripe apples and poached potatoes.
This is very pleasant entry level from the past, it’s quite senseless making a comparison with current 12, here the deep and intensity of flavours comes out easily.
