N: Prendiamo un grande respiro e ci immergiamo in profumi austeri e complessi, iniziamo dal tipico sentore di camino spento, l’impressione iniziale è una certa chiusura più che nelle varie edizione del 30 y.o. Emergono sentori più grassi, diesel, torba terrosa, funghi in realtà avrebbe bisogno dell’addizione di acqua ma non abbiamo avuto il coraggio di aprirlo. In ultimo pompelmi, mela golden e limone di sorrento.
P: Come il parametro olfattivo anche i sapori sono inizialmente chiusi, con un solo punto di riferimento, la torba terrosa, poi si alternano l’incenso, zest di limone (di sorrento) radice di liquirizia, pepe rosa e mango.
F: Finale lungo, il retrofaringe è pervaso dalla torba, l’incenso, il pompelmo e ancora il limone di amalfi.
Che dire? Per gran parte del tempo si mostra nella veste più austera poi nel momento in cui decide di aprirsi si rasentano momenti di assoluto benessere sensoriale, risulta complesso e meditativo forse più dei vari 30 y.o. assaggiati fin’ora.

At last come into view the grapefruits, golden apple and sorrento’s lemons.
P: As the olfactory’s notes, even the beginning flavours are closed with a clear benchmark of incense smoke, and a touch of earthy peaty, then as a satellite that turns around the orbit there are notes of lemon zest, roots licorice, pink pepper, mango. The body is very viscous.
F: Long finishing, the back pharynx remembers tastes of peat, incense smoke, grapefruits and amalfi’s lemons.
What can we say? Where do we begin? Well, as we said the austerity comes almost an holy stuff in this brora, maybe more than in the 30’s, though when you leave breathing the spirit for the necessary time, all the marvellous flavour comes out.
