N: Avete presente quell’odore intenso che si sente poco prima di un temporale?? Si inizia così, di seguito la torba vegetale è avvolgente, il tabacco da pipa si avvicenda con la cenere; in seconda istanza si palesano, zucchero di canna, vaniglia e liquirizia.
P: L’attacco è deciso, salmastro, salamoia, ancora torba vegetale, di nuovo salmastro poi inizia il reparto di spezie, pepe rosa e cardamomo; il malto e il tabacco sono gli utlimi sapori annotati.
F: Di media persistenza, la torba vegetale, cacao amaro, fieno infine pepe.
Alta qualità, invecchiamento prolungato (19 anni), Islay, ci sono tutti i presupposti per razzolare tutte le bottiglie che riuscite a trovare, sempre che ce ne siano ancora.
