C: Resina.

 

N: Il lato “sherroso” è incredibilmente consistente, gli altri odori che gravitano intorno alla sua orbita sono la confettura di albicocche, la torta all’arancia, burro e una chiara presenza di olio d’oliva, in ultimo sentore vegetale e prugne sunsweet.

 

P: Albicocca disidratata, cioccolato fondente e zenzero, lentamente acquisisce consistenza e robustezza, torta all’arancia, l’alcol punge seppur con cortesia, caramelle all’arancia infine, la menta fresca.

 

F: Mediamente persistente, zucchero di canna, cioccolato fondente, menta e zenzero.

 

Prima di esprimere la nostra opinione vogliamo condividere una consuetudine che utilizziamo per apprezzare al meglio questo tipo di whisky (sherry cask): stappiamo la bottiglia e la lasciamo ossigenare qualche giorno prima di degustarla (consuetudine che in teoria dovrebbe essere adottata per qualsiasi tipo di scotch).

Grande baluardo degli amanti del whisky questo entry level risulta ben fatto, morbido e con personalità.

N: The “sharried” note is very consistent, then other smells around it such as apricot jam, orange sponge cake, butter and a clear presence of olive oil, and finally a vegetable note and sunsweet prune.

 

P: Dried apricot, dark chocolate and ginger, consistent and strong, orange sponge cake, orange candies at the end, and fresh mint.

 

F: Average persistence, cane sugar, dark chocolate, mint and ginger.

 

Before giving our opinion, we would like to share a typical personal accustoming, used to appreciate this whisky (sherry cask): as it should be, we let it takes breath and air for few days before the tasting time.

A real “bulwark” for the whisky lovers, then this entry level results good, soft and with an huge personality.
