C: Sherry.
N: L’aspetto fenolico pronunciato si schiude allo sherry. Quindi si susseguono odori fruttati intensi quali la mela gialla matura e la mela cotta. Rimane nel naso il profumo di fiori di limone.
P: Il sentore salino la fa da padrone e diventa frizzantino come il selz. Lo sherry accompagna la bevuta ma si perde pian piano in luogo della noce.
F: Di nuovo il sale anche sul finale, lo iodio e il frizzante di selz. Lo sherry scema fino a sparire e lascia spazio alla frutta gialla e al pistacchio di bronte.
Whisky semplice ma non banale, piacevole, che lascia la bocca pulita. Il selz solletica la lingua ed i sentori fruttati coccolano i sensi. L’alta gradazione sostiene il finale senza arrecare fastidio e appiattire lo spettro di sapori. Se fosse uno scolaro, si direbbe di lui che è dotato ma non si impegna. Pigro.

N: An important phenolic character slowly leaves the stage in favor of sherry. Intense fruity scents like ripe yellow apple and baked apple follow each other in a never-ending run. Notes of lemon will persist in your nostril.
P: Salty scent rules the roost; later, it turns in being a little bit sparkling, like selz. Sherry, after a fast start, gradually loses strength in place of walnut.
F: Salty scent returns again, along with iodine and selz. Sherry continues to completely vanish as scents of yellow fruit and pistachio begin to arise.
Simple, but not the usual whisky: a pleasant friend. Sparkling selz will tickle your tongue, while fruity notes take care of your spirit. High proof helps various scents to persist without side effects: the high ABV will not bother you and will not smooth over scents’ spectrum. We could describe this whisky as a gifted but lazy student, so that speaking to the latter’s mother we would say: “well, your son is very talented, but he lacks in effort”.
